Refund policy
Refund and Return Policy
This Refund and Return Policy applies to purchases made from Loddon & Saltbush. We operate from 93 Shadforth Street, Kerang VIC 3579, Australia. For return assistance, contact returns@loddonandsaltbush.com.au or call +61 3 5550 3579.
1. Your Rights Under Australian Consumer Law
Our products come with consumer guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. Goods must be of acceptable quality, fit for any disclosed purpose, match their description and comply with other applicable consumer guarantees.
If a product has a major failure, you may reject it and choose a refund or replacement. You may instead choose to keep it and seek compensation for the reduction in value.
For a minor problem, we may choose to provide a repair, replacement or refund within a reasonable time. Nothing in this policy excludes, restricts or modifies a non-excludable right or remedy.
2. Voluntary Change-of-Mind Returns
In addition to your statutory rights, we voluntarily accept eligible change-of-mind returns requested within 30 calendar days after delivery.
3. Return Eligibility
To qualify for a voluntary return, a product must ordinarily be unused, unworn, unwashed and in resalable condition, with its original tags, labels and accessories.
Trying on apparel to assess fit does not prevent a return if the product remains clean, undamaged and otherwise eligible.
4. Excluded Products
Unless required by law, voluntary change-of-mind returns are not available for:
- personalised, altered or made-to-order products;
- earrings or pierced jewellery;
- underwear, swimwear or intimate products where a hygiene seal has been removed;
- opened cosmetics, grooming products or hygiene-sensitive goods;
- gift cards and store-credit balances;
- products damaged through misuse, improper care or ordinary wear and tear; or
- products clearly identified before purchase as final sale.
These exclusions do not apply where a product fails to comply with a consumer guarantee.
5. Sale and Promotional Products
Sale and promotional products have the same statutory consumer-guarantee rights as full-price products.
They may also be returned under our voluntary policy unless clearly identified before purchase as final sale.
6. Damaged, Faulty or Incorrect Products
Contact us as soon as reasonably practicable if a product arrives damaged, faulty, unsafe, incomplete or different from the product ordered. Include your order number, a description of the problem and, where reasonably possible, photographs.
We will assess the issue and provide the remedy required under the Australian Consumer Law.
7. How to Request a Return
Contact returns@loddonandsaltbush.com.au or call +61 3 5550 3579 before sending a product. If the return is authorised, we will provide instructions and any available return-authorisation details.
Unless instructed otherwise, authorised returns should be sent to:

8. Return Shipping Costs
If a product fails to comply with a consumer guarantee, we will meet reasonable return costs where required by law. If returning the product would involve significant cost, contact us so that collection or another appropriate arrangement can be considered.
For an eligible voluntary change-of-mind return, the customer is responsible for return shipping unless we agree otherwise.
9. Proof of Purchase
We may request reasonable proof of purchase, such as an order confirmation, receipt, payment record or information that allows us to identify the transaction.
Original packaging is not required when exercising a right under the Australian Consumer Law.
10. Return Inspection
Returned products will be inspected within a reasonable period. We may decline a voluntary return that does not satisfy the stated conditions. This does not affect statutory remedies.
11. Refund Method and Timing
Approved refunds will ordinarily be issued to the original payment method. We aim to process them within 5–10 business days after approval. Financial institutions may require additional time to display the credit.
Where the Australian Consumer Law requires a refund, we will not require you to accept store credit.
12. Original Shipping Charges
Original standard shipping charges will be refunded where required by law. For voluntary change-of-mind returns, original shipping, express-delivery charges and optional service fees are generally non-refundable.
13. Non-Delivery
Contact us if an order is not delivered within the agreed period or, if no period was agreed, within a reasonable time. We will investigate and provide any cancellation, replacement or refund remedy required by applicable law.
14. Refunds Following Cancellation
If an order is validly cancelled before dispatch or because of non-delivery, we will refund the applicable amount using the original payment method unless another lawful method is agreed.
15. Partial Refunds
For voluntary returns, a refund may be reduced to reflect unreasonable damage, missing components or handling beyond what was reasonably necessary to inspect the product.
No deduction will be made where it would conflict with the Australian Consumer Law.
16. Exchanges
Exchanges depend on stock availability and may be processed as a return followed by a new order. If a requested replacement is unavailable, we will discuss available alternatives.
17. Store Credit
We will not require store credit where you are legally entitled to a monetary refund. Store credit may be offered for a voluntary return where the applicable conditions were disclosed.
18. Final-Sale Products
A final-sale designation limits only voluntary change-of-mind returns. It does not remove rights relating to faulty, unsafe, misdescribed or incorrectly supplied products.
19. Returned-to-Sender Orders
If an order is returned because an incorrect address was supplied, delivery was refused or the parcel was not collected, reasonable return or redelivery costs may be deducted from a voluntary refund where lawful.
This does not apply where the return resulted from our error or the carrier acting on our behalf.
20. Delayed or Missing Refunds
If a confirmed refund is not visible after the expected banking period, contact your financial institution and then contact us. If tracking shows that a return reached us but you have received no update, send us the tracking information.
